Alan Zorfas is an expert at leveraging research and analytics to help large brands and organizations reach their growth potential. Clients have included Amazon, Bloomingdale’s, Blue Cross, Capital One, Cisco, Citi, Clorox, CVS, DuPont, HP, J&J, NASA, PepsiCo, Schwab, Scotts Miracle-Gro, Subway, Timberland, Volkswagen, Wells Fargo and others. Alan has also led efforts for various non-profit organizations and authored articles for the Harvard Business Review, GreenBook, Forrester, CEB and Branding Magazine.


Alan co-founded Motista, a company that provides predictive insights on emotion-based motivations. Prior, he spent 20 years in senior strategy roles for top agencies. He served as a Partner and Chief Strategy Officer of EPB/Panoramic Communications and Director of Integrated Marketing for DDB.  In these and other roles, he consulted major brands across every consumer and B2B industry and honed his expertise at leading research-based strategic processes. 


Alan uses research and analytics in various ways, including defining and sizing growth opportunities, brand positioning, segmentation, messaging development, customer experience transformation and establishing ongoing measurement programs.  He’s also made it his career priority to effectively translate insights and strategies to both internal stakeholders and owners of activation, such as creative and other executional teams.
